I am a Licensed Psychologist and Health Service Provider (MA Lic. #9724), specializing in treating children and adolescents aged 3 to 17 with mental health concerns. I help them process their feelings, shift destructive behavioral patterns,  manage life changes, address the social and emotional aspects of learning needs, or tackle life transitions or hurt. I care about understanding and addressing kids' pressing needs.

I am the kind of provider who coordinates with adults in the service of kids. This isn't a "my child just needs someone to talk to" practice. It's about addressing the root cause of kids' issues, making shifts in their lives,  and spending time with them to help grow their emotional capacities.

Those adults who want expert care and are willing to dig deep and learn critical evidence-based skills to best support the young people in their lives  - these are the adults whose kids may benefit most from this practice. 

I always take a holistic approach, where I work closely with people in my patients' lives -  parents, educators, school counselors, tutors, physicians, nurse practitioners, and other professionals, as needed. This collaborative approach often leads to a better understanding of the child’s vulnerabilities and strengths, allowing for more tailored and efficient care.

I train adults (e.g., educators, mental health specialists, physicians, parents) the better support my patients,  utilizing my Surf'sUP Method℠  - a framework that I developed in this practice.
