I work with a diverse group of children and teens who range in age (3-17 years old) and stem from various ethnicities and family structures. Most patients are from the immediate area (i.e., Concord, Bedford, Sudbury, Acton), although some travel from 1 to 3 hours away for consultation or extended treatment sessions. Some children and teens arrive at my office stressed due to transition or loss. Many seek care because they are managing childhood onset anxiety disorders, mood disorders, learning differences, autistic spectrum disorder, behavioral problems, or thought disorders.
I sometimes work with adults as patients, and when I do, I usually see them to address anxiety, depression, trauma, and for parent skills training. From time to time, I work with educators to support their efforts with children managing stress, hardship, or psychiatric issues.
